Bitter or better? Poor Job! God allowed his protective hedge to be removed, and he was plagued by Satan. But Job’s reaction to extreme misfortune resulted in one of the grandest of all confessions of the Resurrection… 1000 years before Christ was even born! How do you respond when life’s difficulties assail you? Do you become bitter, blaming and self-pitying. Or better? Job’s faith allowed him to see beyond his present circumstances, to see that his Redeemer lives, that He shall return, and that he—Job himself—would see God with his own eyes.
