Jesus Is the Finger of God — February 24, 2008
Synopsis ►
The Finger of God has accomplished amazing things. In this Gospel lesson, Jesus casts demons out of a man with “the finger of God”. If He has that much strength in His fingers, how much strength does He have? As incomprehensible as that thought is the knowledge that God put aside his strength and entered His Creation in weakness… in the womb of a virgin, in the form of a baby, in the person of Christ. With the lift of a mere finger, Christ could have called down a host of angels to deliver Himself from the woes of His persecution, but he tucked away His power to deliver us.
